Short Biography:
Ms. Janice Mwende Nyaga is a Senior Administrative Assistant at the University of Embu (UoEm) attached to the Human Resource (HR) Department. Ms. Nyaga’s over a decade’s professional experience includes; strategic human capital management, employee development, employee relations, reward & recognition, talent acquisition management, employee motivation and professional development in the field of Human Resource that enables the University to grow and thrive.
Prior to working at UoEm, Ms. Nyaga was an Administrative Assistant at Kenyatta University, Human Resource Department where she gained valuable knowledge on human resource programmes, which included leadership, staffing, employee relations, recruitment and employee training & development.
As a Senior Administrative Assistant, Ms. Nyaga is committed to providing strategic guidance on all aspects of the human resource functions for establishing a vision for the full complement of core human capital programs, policies and services that promote effectiveness in the workforce while supporting the long-term success of UoEm.
